"The old trunk. I prised off the lid. It's filled with blankets and clothes. I thought you might find them interesting.'

Did laughed uncertainly. Tom's sense of humour was quite often perverse. "Oh, come on Dad. Why should I be interested? I wouldn’t wear someone’s smelly old things."

"Did I say anything about wearing them?" Tom cleared his throat, a sure sign he was getting irritable. "I thought you might have a look. Some of the old newspapers go back to the early thirties."
